About the Shape
The elongated Marquise cut has elegant pointed ends, and is referred to as the football-shaped cut, the eye-shaped cut, and the ‘Navette’, meaning a little boat. It has the largest crown surface area than any other diamond cut.
Why this Shape
The rare shape of the stone adds grandeur to the finger of the wearer, and maximises the carat weight of a diamond, making it appear larger than other stones of the same weight.
